The Tennis for Secondary Schools Partnership program is focused on the promotion of lifelong physical activity and health by providing students with the opportunity to participate in tennis at school. Guided by a student-centred approach, with an emphasis on the holistic development of the student, each student’s developmental readiness has been considered.
ANZ Tennis Hot Shots is Tennis Australia’s official development program specifically designed to introduce primary school children between five and 12 years of age to tennis. At the core of the program is an innovative, practical philosophy called ‘Learning through play’.
The Performance Program at the Queensland Tennis Centre is based on recommendations by Tennis Australia and its’ Athlete Development Matrix. Performance classes form part of the Talent Development pathway for highly talented juniors wishing to compete and excel in serious tennis competition.
